In pin-up and burlesque photography, we try to recreate the classic look from the 1920's to 1960's.

Pin-ups in those times were considered sexy, fun but taboo, so we try to re-create those saucy, funny vintage classic images. We have a variety of outfits, props and accessories to get the look. It also includes professionally styled hair and makeup to create the authentic look.

In the 20th century, mainly because of the Moulin Rouge in Paris, burlesque became associated with variety shows with the striptease being the main attraction. Burlesque photography today is simply another form of boudoir photography; however, rather than wearing modern sexy lingerie as you might find at Victoria's Secret, your lingerie would be more dressy, lush and colourful, a bit classical or vintage. A few props such as a fan or boa can complete the picture.
